Beneficial Ai for Any Bible Study Group
The subject of the Trinity is not an easy one to tackle. It is a confusing concept that has bewildered many since it was defined and introduced by the early Christian Church. In his new book, `The Unveiling of the Trinity,' author Tom Bosse sets out to clarify what is meant by the term and how it fits into the lives of those who embrace it.

For those who are not familiar with the concept, I will include Bosse's definition: "The Trinity is a distinctive doctrine, which declares that one God exists in three Persons. These three manifestations of God are presented in the Bible as the Father, the Son (Jesus Christ) and the Holy Ghost (sometimes referred to as the Holy Spirit). They are not three different people, but they are expressed as three Persons in one God, or one God revealed in three ways."

Within the pages of his book, Bosse takes on such subjects as the Virgin Birth, Mary's motherhood of Jesus, the divinity and humanity of Jesus and the essence of man. He examines Christianity as well as eight other world religions, exploring how the Trinity fits into each and coming to the conclusion that Christianity is set apart by its belief in the Trinity. The author unveils the Trinity by establishing a Biblical foundation for the doctrine. He says, "The Bible is full of God's personality and character, and they are open and visible to us when we seek them."

As a lay minister and a student of the Bible for more than 25 years, it is evident that Bosse has studied the subject of the Trinity and has found Biblical references to back his belief in it, but as I was reading this book - since I am also a Bible-believing Christian - I found myself wondering if people who do not believe in the Bible would be convinced by the author's logic. The discussion set forth in the book comes from the premise that the reader believes in the tenets of the Bible. If this is not the case, I am not sure readers would be receptive to the message.

Having said this, `The Unveiling of the Trinity' would be a beneficial aid to any Bible study group meeting to discuss the Trinity. It references many Scriptures and offers a chapter by chapter analysis of the topic. It sparks discussion and debate and invites in-depth reflection on the nature of God and man.

A Composite Look at the Doctrine of the Trinity
Tom Bosse's purpose in this book is to establish a foundation to help the reader understand the concept of the trinity. His writing is, clear, direct, and in a layman's language. However, because of the nature of the subject matter a thorough reading is needed for perceptive understanding.

Bosse traces the Trinity from Genesis to Revelation. He provides insight into specific Scripture passages in an effort to replace the mystery of the Trinity. The book is Biblically based. The author's commentary and interpretation some times differ from traditional teaching. This may create controversy; however a careful reading will allow the reader to discern truth from conjecture.

The author has developed the material in a logical manner and has presented it in a style that is eye appealing and easily assimilated. A unique feature of the book is the chapter summary. These summaries provide the reader with a concise synopsis of the topic covered. This brief review reinforces the theme of the chapter.

Bosse has been true to the gospel throughout the book and clearly presented the message of salvation through the shed blood of Jesus Christ.

This is a book for the astute reader. I recommend it for anyone doing a serious study on the Trinity. The book lends itself to both individual and class study.
